Damage to movements by Geneva Seal
Sep 17, 2014,08:58 AM
Don,
Thanks for the report.
I knew Mr K-F Scheufele was rushing away to another meeting in Geneva but not that it was about the Geneva Seal.
We never think about the Seal application being a crude stamping process when we look at beautiful movements. Of course, it makes sense because it was the technology from years gone by. Want to mark something? Hit it with a die and hammer...or brand it with red-hot metal.
So now we have nano-technology of material fusion.....hmmm...it does not even require plasma heat as some nano-tech bonding processes "only" require ultrasonic energy.......
Regards,
MTF
