I have very mixed feelings about this news. On the one hand, it's great to see this kind of recognition (reverence may be a more hopeful word) for one of the founding members of the AHCI by a conglomerate like the Swatch Group. While on the other hand it ... 

I think that watchmakers, as everyone else too, pass through phases in their careers and that Vincent, after many very active years on his own, is now ready for the support of a bigger organization. It seems consistent to me that he be moving to Blancpain... 

he can concentrate entirely on imagination and creativity, and not on administration and finances. I guess we will see more 'Vincent' than ever before. Best, Magnus
