Seconde Centrale

Perhaps the 1931 Seconde Centrale is a clue to the future...
It uses automatic calibre 966 with central sweep seconds in a larger case. I wonder if this is what the future holds for the Reverso: A larger case, no more "old fashioned" sub seconds, etc. After all, Jaeger-LeCoultre tipped the Grande case with a special edition way back when.
But this is not too radical. Calibre 966 is a special movement - one of the smallest automatic movements out there. But again, not radical.
The current focus on moon phase complications suggests we'll see a Reverso Sun Moon or something of the sort...
