Horological Meandering

Gathering for watches is always fun! After a stressful work day (in a most stressful season of work for me... the business planning weeks for next year), I found much relief and rest with fellow PuristS over a relaxed dinner and some watch sharing. No fan...

... and I was blown away by the range, diversity and beauty of the watches there! Many of these I had admired only in pictures before but I could handle them in real life. Pretty incredible! It was great to learn more from fellow PuristS.

And we sat down, chatted, took photos for like 40 mins before we ordered! After our meal, we chatted for like another hour or so before doing some boutique hopping :) Agree, the people are the most important! Then the watches... :D Cheers robin

was not really the favorite piece LOL. There was no clear fav piece - our tastes are so diverse, every watch pretty much got a fan LOL. Yes, the wonders of our hobby - allows us to make friends (and very close ones too) very quickly! Thanks Fernando! Chee...

. . . couldn't make it this time, Robin. There would've been a few vintage lovelies to accompany the spectacular examples on hand had he been present! Casual g-t-gs are the best part of this hobby ;-) . . .
