On Saturday evening, the SoCal area PuristS welcomed our good friend and fellow moderator Don Corson for a nice dinner GTG. It was great to see Don again and also to meet his lovely wife. There were familiar faces and very cool to meet some new PuristS at...

The evening started well, first with free Valet parking for my rental car. The evening progressed well, with great company and food. Especially with Don Corson and his wife visiting from Geneva. I especially liked the wine! And the evening cumulated with ...

I wanted to! I hope it didn't go to waste! Too bad they don't have a wine doggie bag. My pet dog would appreciate it. The FRS was really quite interesting. I'll try to write up something about it. It's a true sports car, it has its own set of limitations,...

That would have matched the steak perfectly. The Magill is a single vineyard, hand picked, basket pressed shiraz from Penfolds original vineyard founded at Magill in South Australia in 1844. Nicely balance oak and tannin from a specialty shiraz region. Ni...
