I love dials with lots of hand-made elements....

... enamel is nice and in sort of fashion, but personally, porcelain dials are harder to make, I think, and more tempting....  just IMHO.....

In most cases, they are a bit too precious (and possibly too feminine?) for me to buy and wear, but I very much appreciate the art and craft that goes into enameling, cloisonne, pieces. Cheers, John
