Then maybe this car's license plate is for you then!

I took a quick snap shot today from my car so excuse the poor quality picture smile

Cheers,

Sure cheap $50. In Europe and elsewhere the plates cost more than the car

Plates with interesting configurations i.e. things that make sense are only by coinsidence they can not be ordered. So a plate like "bmw 633" may have occurred randomly and the owner can demand any premium they want to sell the plates. 100k why not.

In Belgium, you can order them, but Filip told me that the price was quite serious, indeed

You Can't Sell the Plates in the US

 By: patrick_y : January 30th, 2015-01:13
The plate F1 is one of the most desirable plates in the UK. But because plates are not transferrable in the USA, there's no market. Without a market, there's no value. Would you advocate creating a transferability system in the US? And therefore open up a...

For 50 USD per year, I am allowed to get a " Vlad The Impaler 666 " plate?

The plate you request goes through a committee. When you apply for the plate, in California, it has to be 7 digits normally. They also ask you what the meaning is. So if you say "VLAD666" you have to explain its meaning. I would say "Nickname." Certain th...

Impaler plate on Chevy Impala :)

Hmmm! ;) [nt]

Meets 7 digit requirement. They might find the meaning too ominous though.

There's a car in the USA called the Chevrolet Impala. So maybe IMPALER would pass. Has to be 7 digits or less. My favorite license plate I've ever seen was in Newport Beach, "FAWAWI" was on Ferrari sports car. I find that especially clever. I wonder if th...

Yes, but fools that we are, we pay every year

Our numbered plates (in California) are priced by the state to raise money for itself and for special organizations. Here's the full list, if you are interested LINK TO DMV I've had this plate for about 20 years, and at After all, what looks better - this...

Why Tree CV? Couldn't get TREEHUG or HUGTREE?

 By: patrick_y : January 30th, 2015-10:29
What's the meaning behind TREE CV?

It's a pun on the name of the car, which is 2CV

 By: cazalea : January 30th, 2015-12:43
that's no longer my car - when I owned it my plate said CV CV (two CV) but when I sold it, the new owner put on the wood and got this new plate. Of course, you have to be first to get your choice - otherwise creative spelling is required.

Ahh, that explains it!

Any new cars to join le stables? Something with a charge perhaps?

It was meant to be Low Tush but they wouldn't allow that

apparently it could be an offensive term to some people with saggy bottoms. Here are a few more I've had: Elemntry was one of my favorites "Marketing" number plate to promote a book. Number plate I got for the chairman of a Glass's Guide (used car values)...

Thanks, Mike. " C'est 2 CV " is another excellent one.
