Meets 7 digit requirement. They might find the meaning too ominous though.

There's a car in the USA called the Chevrolet Impala.  So maybe IMPALER would pass.  Has to be 7 digits or less.

My favorite license plate I've ever seen was in Newport Beach, "FAWAWI" was on Ferrari sports car.  I find that especially clever.

I wonder if the license plate "TORTOIS" or "TORTUGA" is still available.  That would be a funny license plate.

Sure cheap $50. In Europe and elsewhere the plates cost more than the car

Plates with interesting configurations i.e. things that make sense are only by coinsidence they can not be ordered. So a plate like "bmw 633" may have occurred randomly and the owner can demand any premium they want to sell the plates. 100k why not.

In Belgium, you can order them, but Filip told me that the price was quite serious, indeed

You Can't Sell the Plates in the US

The plate F1 is one of the most desirable plates in the UK. But because plates are not transferrable in the USA, there's no market. Without a market, there's no value. Would you advocate creating a transferability system in the US? And therefore open up a...

The plate you request goes through a committee. When you apply for the plate, in California, it has to be 7 digits normally. They also ask you what the meaning is. So if you say "VLAD666" you have to explain its meaning. I would say "Nickname." Certain th...

Why Tree CV? Couldn't get TREEHUG or HUGTREE?

 By: patrick_y : January 30th, 2015-10:29
What's the meaning behind TREE CV?

It's a pun on the name of the car, which is 2CV

 By: cazalea : January 30th, 2015-12:43
that's no longer my car - when I owned it my plate said CV CV (two CV) but when I sold it, the new owner put on the wood and got this new plate. Of course, you have to be first to get your choice - otherwise creative spelling is required.
