Countdown to Basel...

Mar 10, 2015,14:19 PM

The biggest and best watch exhibition in the world, an eclectic mix of old brands, new brands, classic watchmakers, rocket scientists and those breaking into new technology all together in one city.

Early mornings, late nights, lack of sleep, aching feet (both from walking and late night dancing), eating and drinking too much, making new friends, catching up with old ones...  and finally plenty of headache tablets... wink

All this however means one extra special thing... a new watch finding its way onto my wrist... shortly followed by a long wish list of watches for next year!

Maybe a few clues before the big unveiling next week... any guesses as to the brand?

Cheers
Andrew

You seem to have had a great evening and I'm curious to see the new watch pics. I thought of the Lange because of the little "step" between the bezel and the case. The lugs would match too. Cheers, Mark

Not German Mark...

I can see what you say on the step... but not this time... :) Cheers Andrew

Where is the real Andrew and what have you done with him?

 By: MTF : March 10th, 2015-17:13
That implies a watch with blue highlights instead of orange....... What have you done with the real Andrew? :-) See you in Basel.......... Regards, MTF

Hahaha Melvyn... Maybe a change of taste...

 By: andrewluff : March 12th, 2015-03:15
Not your classical size for a watch... Cheers Andrew ...

My guess: German (but not the typical suspects), with a complication?

 By: Ornatus-Mundi : March 12th, 2015-03:24

A Breguet (maybe the Hora Mundi) or a Portugaise (but IWC is not in Basel). You chose the picture quite well :p Cheers, Mark
