I credit François-Paul Journe with my interest in ‘modern’ horology. As some may remember, the company was acquired by the Swiss-based Excellence Holding Group in December 2009, and was renamed as Manufacture des Montres Vulcain SA.A short chat with Mr Bernard Fleury just before the dinner event. He did not disclose how much shareholding when asked.
