Sorry guys but this is just a partial coverage of the new IWC watches at SIHH 2009.  All my AA batteries for my external camera flash died out for me at my IWC appointment, and I didn't have time to go back the next day and take more pics sad  SJX should have pics of the other models.


IWC DaVinci Perpetual

- digital date & month
- available in platinum limited edition of 500 pieces - estimated retail $70,000
- available in rose gold regular production - estimated retail $44,300





IWC Laureus Portuguese
- limited to 1000 pieces
- very beautiful blue dial IMO









IWC Aquatimer
- 44mm case
- below pictured is the all black rubberized Aquatimer Chronograph
- rose gold version has the DaVinci in-house chronograph movement as well as a display back
- the new IWC Aquatimer Deep 2 is 46mm and has the feature of measuring the deepest depth during your dive









IWC Big Pilot's Watch Antoine de Saint Exupéry
- 1,149 watches in stainless steel, 500 in rose gold, and 250 in white gold
- 1 platinum model which will be auctioned off to the highest bidder
- tobacco brown dial
- 46mm case





IWC Big Ingenieur Chronograph
- increased case size to 45.5mm
- available in platinum, rose gold, and steel
- chronograph pushers integrated into the case

Well, not many appealing watches, this year.... And why did they change the old caliber of the MR: For the Jones? A bit sad, as the old one was esthetically interesting, and because the FA Jones is now used on many watches.... Too many, perhaps. Best. Nic...

Thanks Anthony for these great pictures. You are right about the blue dialed Portuguese. This model is still lurking and this dial puts it on my list (again). Not sure about the new Aquatimers; liked the old ones a lot. Cheers, Starman
