I totally agree with Nico, watches are a big part of accessories nowadays, pretty sure you read time from cellphone or computer. Rgds Raymond

you should consider the other 5130s with straps because their dials are easier for reading time Issue is the bracelet is more important to than legibility. Good luck with your decision !! Gordon

Agreed on the bracelet.

It is a issue at different levels: Price, which goes up in a dramatic way, Weight / Comfort, and Aesthetics, as the delicious case is a bit " sunk " with the bracelet, I find. Best, Nicolas

If you really want "World Time" function...

... it doesn't have to be Patek. Simple GMT type is more practical, like Rolex GMT, etc...... If and when the world time watch is born, with summer time adjustment for each time zone including those 30 min. time difference special time zone, in the mechan...

GMT / Travel Time / World Time are quite different concepts.

GMT is the basic travel Watch. The Rolex is the most famous one. Simple and efficient. The most sophisticated Travel Time is certainly the JLC Duometre UTT. The Parmigiani Kalpa Hemisphere is excellent too, but less refined than the JLC. Then you have the...

.. if it doesn't work precisely in the real world, then the name of the cities around the dial are just a busy "decoration" quite hard to read for the aging eyes :-) I meant to ask the OP "what exactly you want from that type of the watch". Best, Ken

Agreed. So GMT or Travel Time watches are for you.

The only way to improve it would be a blue dial. But it's pretty gorgeous as it is! Let us know what you decide....

A wwww, c'mon...

Telling the time is the *last* thing the watches we obsess over are for!!! ;) Best E.

No, I do too - to the point where I want to paint the hands

on some of these watches! Silver hands on a silver dial? C'mon! And often silver against black are invisible much of the time. Cazalea

You are not alone: legibility is beauty.

Sometimes I think the watch companies are just making jokes at the expense of their customers. If I can't read it, I don't want it.

oI am shocked, stunned and dismayed!!!!!

Do we, passionate watch collectors that we are, truly think that we should make telling time such a priority? I thought that we said that it is not about time but the art of these mechanical marvels. : ) Do not try work hard to convince yourself that you ...

Your choice is cool and great that you want to enjoy it daily but I fear this WG one will not serve the purpose that you have in mind. It is more jewellery on your wrist and a top luxury item that becomes a great piece of watchmaking if you share more tim...
