This is just such an exemplary product, and I am not "pro Seiko", but the watch, for a steel one, is a VERY GOOD buy. The GOLD one, however, I was told by the japanese, was not felt to be "in demand" so they make "very very very few".

Darn ....... I WANT A SOLID GOLD GRAND SEIKO TOO

The gold example does feel very very meaty. The chrono hand "bounced" a bot more that I was expecting at reset....
