Adolfo Natalini did NOT design the orginal Laureato in 1975

Adolfo Natalini did NOT design the orginal Laureato in 1975. GP knows who the designer is but they will only say it was an in-house designer and they will not release his name. After I spoke with Fabrizio (his business partner for over 30 years) last week, I emailed him to be sure there was no misun

Yesterday I had the joy of stopping by the Livraria Lello bookstore in Porto

They had a display devoted to Le Petit Prince including 80th anniversary editions of the book, of which I bought two.

1986 BMW M3 E30.

Launched in 1985, this first generation was 1200 kg for 195 HP. 4 years later, the 2, 3 4 Cylinders got a bit more power( 215 HP ). That was something to drive and a dream for my ( our ) generation. The interior, quite austere, but not lacking charm.... The essential was there. Credit: Classic Car.

Today wearing my Octo Finissimo.

The original time only Titanium model is for me still one of the best Octo versions to capture the audacious and industrial raw design language of the watch. A watch like no other !! Best, Gerard

Home is where the heart is…

My wife is still very much over the moon with her latest customized Habring2 Chronofelix Top Seconds with a heart instead of a dot for the top seconds. But at the very least I can already photograph it 😁

Travel stealth 🥷🏻🧳

Just came back from a longer business trip and one the watches accompanying me was the Grand Seiko SBGR305, the first modern single logo piece. Makes for a great travel watch, easy to pair, adequately robust to deal with the odd rain shower, sufficiently interesting and adequately stealthy.
