A New Panda
Jul 17, 2015,07:55 AM
Like many of us I find the panda dials of old quite appealing. And seeing as it's not necessarily feasible to strap a Paul Newman Daytona to the wrist, the search sometimes needs to be broadened a bit.
I've been after a nice one of these for some time now, and finally located one. The Chronomaster Aviator Sea Diver was produced by both Nivada Grenchen and Croton, although almost always with all-black dials. The white-dialed version is the elusive one, and at least to my eyes, quite a looker.
Here are a few scans.
Hope everyone enjoys the weekend.
