Hi Art, to be honest I really don´t know. Just a guess: IMO they have been adjusted for chronometer rating only - I don´t know if they had special finish and detailing on special parts as it was with several Omega movements... But what I have ob...

Hi eterna-fan, they show up rarely... but if you are lucky you can get a lot of watch for your money. These are underrated watches with in house movements at unbeatable prices! regards Erich

Hi Daos, the recessed crowns are not uncommon on Eterna-matics and not only found on chronometers. The Centenaire models were released with recessed crowns for example. kind regards Erich

Owned mine from 1951. When I posted this in another watch forum, Norbert's son found me doing a Google search and asked me about the watch. I offered to sell it back to him for what I paid for it, but he wasn't interested in having it....

I made some quick researches on Eterna Diving watches, but some Chronometers are worth a look, too. I remember, some 10 years ago, a re editiion in platinum which was really gorgeous. Hope to see more Eterna watches in the Future, and more often, too! Bes...
