favorite manual winds?
Jul 23, 2008,02:25 AM
I am looking for a manual wind watch that is in the$5K range. I like the concept of manual wind for the daily interaction with watch.
Characteristics that I would like it to include are:
1) second hand, ideally central, but subdial ok, hacking plus
2) simple face arabic numbers, black dial
3) sapphire crystal
4) date would be nice
5) daily wearer: (business casual) something I can wear without suit, If I couldn't wear with T-shirt (weekend), OK.
6) something I could pass on to my son in 18 years (classic to larger style, 40-42mm)
7) brand that has history and chance to appreciate over the years
Does anything fit this request?
Thanks alot!
