Is watch merely a functional piece or an art?

Of course there is more to a watch then great engineering and fine craftmanship. What makes a Piccaso more appealing than a Renoir? Nothing, simply put, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

They are not for everyone, design wise it is very "unique". Very tech oriented, and yet sometimes using traditional art form (maki-e). You should learn about campanola from the real master: Mr. Kurt Behm. He's the one who influence me that expensive quart...
