Manometro Carbon Fibre - Man O Man

Sep 29, 2008,23:20 PM

Just picked up my new carbon fibre and titanium Manometro S.  I really like the design and functionality of this brand and think it will continue to make a mark on the watchworld. Very comfortable on and with a striking appearance it will join my other brushed SS Manometro 04. The dial has a 3-dimensional look. I think there are some new models due out in the S range mixing various finishes and trims with the carbon fibre body and dial. They may not be everyones' "cup of tea" but Mazzuoli has extended the watch design comfort zone which is a good thing.

I previously contemplated buying one, but it has not quite inched up to the shot list . . . . yet. Craig

i really love their Contagiri model with the retrograde single hour no minute hand so it looks like what its called(contagiri=rev counter). its flyback funkyness and no crown bezel operated wind and time set is just great. they also do a limited model in ...

Ron, all the guiliano Mazzuoli watches are 45.2mm diameter, they look a lot thicker than they are at 14.8mm. they also do a numbered ltd edition in titanium with bronzed finish, but the carbon case on this manometro 'S' looks by far the best IMO especiall...

Can you keep us posted on the scratch resistance?

 By: BDLJ : September 30th, 2008-20:55
As a CFRP cased watch, the finish is dependent on the Gel coat. I will have to talk to some friends re: the resin compositions available, but it would be great if you can keep us all informed on the your experiences of the watch's scratch and ding resista...

Manometro S and Brother

 By: davestan : September 30th, 2008-21:25
Just a few more pics of the carbon fibre and its brushed SS brother. I wondered myself about the degree of scratch resistance with the CF model. The brushed stainless steel model wears a bit "bigger" and is significantly heavier but fits nicely. These wat...

Davestan, the website describes the strap on the CF as 'integrated into case'. is it possible to change it without too many hassles if it wears out or is it as they say, part of the case? Graham

Changeable Straps

Graham The straps are easily changed/interchangeable, in fact they come in a variety of colours(albeit pricey). Retained in the body of the case with screws.
