I used to own both an IWC and UN Perpetual and really enjoyed both watches. The IWC dial layout is extremely legible and balanced IMO and setting the date forward and backward on the UN is priceless if you don't store your perpetual in a watch winder and ...

one we've all missed out on for the 'quartz' connection is the new Seiko arctura kinetic auto relay. does everything a perp needs, but after 24 hours of no movement it shuts down into sleep mode where it can stay for UP TO 4 YEARS!!! all you need to do is...

graham, cant agree with you more,Japs are pretty fast and hot on tech.Look at the asimo by honda!simply unbeliveable. UN's perpetual the best go for the wg piccolas version,you will not regret. Thanks! BHK9

BHK9, i already have a yg UN Ludwig perp. too many wants, not enough money so can only have 1 perp. luckily i got the first of the UN perp line. cant really call it the daddy. perhaps one day after other wants are fullfilled i'll get another..........one ...

Couple of questions 1. Is the IWC 46mm ? I always thought that it was 44mm and the new one was 42mm. 2. What does the 07 in the UN tell ? Is is short for 2007 ? If so, I think it would be extremely cool if they could line up all their windows in one line ...
