Recently, our ROLEX-.116610LV-0002 underwent an upgrade, and many friends are curious about the improvements made. Therefore, to satisfy everyone’s curiosity, in this issue, I will introduce the improvements made to the new product and compare it with the previous version to see the differences!
Before an in -depth explanation, let me first introduce what 904L stainless steel is. Whether it’s original Rolex watches or replicas, they basically use this material. 904L stainless steel is a low-carbon, high-nickel, molybdenum austenitic stainless acid-resistant steel. It has excellent activation-passivation transformation ability and extremely good corrosion resistance. It exhibits good corrosion resistance in non-oxidizing acids such as sulfuric acid, acetic acid, formic acid, and phosphoric acid, and has good corrosion resistance in neutral chloride ion media. Additionally, it has good resistance to crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. It’s highly suitable for various concentrations of sulfuric acid below 70°C, and it has good corrosion resistance in mixed acids of acetic acid and formic acid under atmospheric pressure and at any concentration and temperature. In terms of composition, 904L stainless steel has 1.6 times more chromium and molybdenum content compared to 316L stainless steel, and it also contains copper. As a result, 904L stainless steel is more wear-resistant and more corrosion-resistant. In summary, That’s why most products use this material.

On the left is the old version, and on the right is the new version. At first glance, there doesn’t seem to be much difference in color. The new version’s bezel also features the original custom green bezel, so the overall color of the outer ring is basically the same. However, you can see that the colors of the bezel markings are different. The bezel markings on the old version are silver, while the new version has been upgraded to white. Side view : On the left side of the case, there is a QR code sticker. This design has been used since early versions and has been retained. Its purpose is to protect the polished parts, so there haven’t been many changes in this upgrade.
Backside: Compared to the old version, the new version boasts a more refined polishing effect, with subtle modifications made to the toothed portion as well.
Strap: There haven’t been any improvements to the strap itself because it’s already near perfection. However, we have made enhancements to the protective film on it, ensuring better product protection and enhancing its color and appearance.
Clasp: The overall crown logo remains the same as the old version, without significant changes. The biggest change is the engraving on the inside of the clasp. This clasp surpasses any version on the market because we’ve tried thousands of times to find what we believe is the most perfect engraving.
