Your thoughts echo my own.  It's a hard choice between the QL and chrono but the dial of the QL tips it in its favor, in my opinion.  I rarely use the chrono function and the date function is much more useful in my old age.  Also, I love the fact I can see the jumping seconds move all the time on the QL.  Enjoy in good health!

Have been fascinated by the Dual Wing concept from the get go ... wasn't too keen on another Chrono so i decided to wait.. then the QL came out and had purchased a couple of other pieces at the time but when the 40.5 mm came out, i know the 42 was for me....  

Bravo, Kam. You just got one of the most interesting and exciting JLC.

I know you will love it as I have the same one and love mine! I can stare at the dial and movement for hours as it is truly breathtaking! Enjoy and wear it in good health!
