194 FOR SURE

Never been a huge chrono fan. I like my Pans simple. Date and seconds is all you need.

Have both but more wrist time is the 187

Although the 194 has a more of a panerai/simple dial i prefer the 187 as it is heavier and looks bigger. But both nice/big watches for big boys! alepos

No one of these 2 can replace the only one..;The Bomba!

The bezel and the very busy dial on these 2 refs are problematic, to me... I much prefer the rugged style of the Bad Boy Bomba! But, as always, your pics are impeccable! Best, Nicolas

Awesome sub! [nt]

You also have the Bomba??? Lucky guy! I should have never sold mine! Best, Nicolas

I have a question: is one thicker than the other?

I am considering getting one of those and I am wondering if one is thinner?

Thanks! [nt]

PAM 187 VS PAM 194

 By: davidjewels : February 4th, 2010-06:02
I used to own both, and I can tell you first hand that I like the 194 better because it is a titanium watch. I think that the chrono (PAM 187) is steel, but a couple thousand dollars more expensive,. The 194 has a slightly darker dial, and I personally li...

PAM 194 ON A NYLON STRAP

 By: davidjewels : February 4th, 2010-06:45
Here is the same PAM 194 , but this time on the supplied nylon strap. Just as cool, if not cooler than the rubber strap. I think overall the PAM 194 is a cleaner looking watch than the 187. But that's just my opinion. PAM 194 on a nylon strap...

PAM 187 VS PAM 194

 By: davidjewels : February 8th, 2010-02:39
I'm glad you started this whole thing because I used to own both of these watches and sold them to buy other timepieces down the line. Now, after seeing what you have got going on this forum I'm excited all over again and tomorrow I'm going to get myself ...

I'll take the PAM187... it's my favorite EDW

Definitely the PAM187... the chrono function is indispensable for my job. Limited and unique because how many dive watches have you ever seen that had a full chrono (hour/min/sec) function... not too many. Plus it's the ONLY 47mm Panerai deep diver that i...

that had to be some kind of record :)

I would go for a Pam 187, instead.....

Love chronograph Pam, would like to get the 187 with T-dial but instead I found a rare Chronopassion 2500m Destro Pam 358. The quest continue for a 187.... ...
