Omega Seamaster 300 Ref 165 024: How would you qualify it?
By: amanico : October 15th, 2010-11:36
Here are some new pictures I took of this great watch, a ... 1964 model ( Calm down, Graham, it is mine and not for sale! ) , which, in my opinion, respects the " 4 S Rule ". I would say: 1/ Sophisticated, with its " Lyre " lugs: 2/ Strong, with its impec...
Nicolas, no worries, as i have 2 of them from 64 already and a 165.014 :)

Well, mrsnak, I think I even prefer the 14 755, if we speak " aesthetics ".

The thin bezel is to die for. Now, on this SM 300 165 024, I love its homogeneity, and the facth that, to me, it is more a dive watch than the 14 755. The large bezel and the nigger indexes /hands, make it more legible. Best, Nicolas

I own this one for 3 years and a half, now. I didn't wear it a lot, lastly, but as with each nice watch, it was a big pleasure to rediscover it. Hence those pictures. Glad to know that you loved the " 4 S " rule, my friend. Best, Nicolas
Aaah, Art, for a minute I was afraid!

Yes, Art, if I had to choose one word starting with S, it would be the same than yours. Best, my friend. Nicolas.

...you know I prefer the internal rotating bezel and dual crowns of a compressor-cased diver. The world of vintage Omegas is a diverse and wonderful one. I love to visit the vintage Omega store with Art, Snak and other friends. It is always a treat to see...
