omega repair & services

some how, omega repair & services is expensive.like for my case, i got a 30+ years old omega sent to omega HQ to have it service and replace the crack bezel. after a few month they got back to me with the quatation. to replace the crack bezel, service and to replace any parts that need to be replace, total it cost me 3 times of the amount that i got for my watch. so end up having it sent back to me as it is and i will have to decide what to do with it.. LOL

My watchmaker typically charges $200 for a full chronograph service. Your quote seems odd

First of all, $80 for "gaskets" is nuts. Of course if you have to replace the pushers then the $80 price isn't off by too much. I'm thinking $640 is still a bit high. I'm guessing you'd pay around this much for a full restoration in Bienne and at least it...

Thanks for the feeback. I also thought that 620 was steep. I took it into Time & Gold Ltd, which is on the official omega " Customer Service network". They are even listed on the omega.com repair section. I think it may be a pusher problem but they are ov...
