Rolex: Transitions

Slowing down and catching up when I took this shot last month. Time goes by so fast. At least I had my 16700, transitional GMT Rolex with me. Cheers.

Photography: I know...

A Phase One. Who ever expects to see one of those in real life. I look forward to your review and to actually handling one. I'd like to know if my film Hasselblad 501 lenses will work on this. The Pentax was the digital 645 and it put out some amazing photos. I need time to sort through my own photo

Photography: I've recently returned from a dedicated landscape photography course

... 5 nights and 4 days in Central Australia with a photographer for Australian Geographic. 4 days of getting up before 5 am to catch the right light. Cameras in use by participants included Leica S/SL, Pentax 645, Alpa and Phase One. This new Hasselblad was announced on our last day on location. Se

WristScan: An oldie but a goldie...

Just cruising the forum wasting time at the airport before my flight leaves. Here's an old photo I have previously posted of a watch I still own. Enjoy the rest of your Easter. Cheers.

Photography: To shoot film for yourself

is a nice way to explain it for me too. I look at the prints when developed but it's actually the process of shooting I like. I'm hopeless at scanning. Typically I get a contact sheet when I process my negs and file that with the negs and don't bother about scanning them. But give me time. In the me

Photography: Very interesting.

Hi Casey, Thank you, this is very interesting. Whilst “the 15 minutes of fame” I receive these days is mostly for my candid photography with the M9, I have a soft spot for the “slow serenity” of medium format film photography. Shooting from chest or waist height with my Hasselblad 501 and wondering

Photography: Short term pain. Long term gain.

First of all, wonderful atmospheric photos Oliver. Regarding the M9 sensor issue, I was caught up early in this problem. I noticed spots on my images and sent my M9 for sensor cleaning in August 2013 but was told I needed a new sensor which was replaced free and my camera was returned in February 20

Photography: Wonderful Read

Echi, This was a very interesting read, and I have been tempted by some of their courses but never committed. Thank you for your insights.
