Made even more special for the meeting of Aptronym for the first time! I think I may have taken a few more timepieces than I really "needed" to, though all were enjoyed ;-) It was also notable for the introduction of another "tweep" who had no knowledge of the watch nerdery she was going to let hers

I have heard unconfirmed rumor that George Daniels has passed, if so it is a very sad day for the horological world.. Without his inspiration, I doubt I would be the watchmaker I have become / am becoming, and hope that the Smith/Daniels collaboration is completed in his memory without any hiccups..
and some spectacular pieces, the Cartier Chrono is brilliant.. and while the JLC is definitely a stand out piece, the skill involved in manufacturing the Cartier at the time would have been taxing to say the least.. Thanks Noodle ;-) Tom
