solid back = perfect for engraving
I got the 5196 in white gold from my wife for our wedding. I have it engraved with a very personal message, the wedding date and her name. Perfect for me, I love it!

under the back, is it just the movement or is their a sapphire under there? saw one today and i saw the edge where it looks like u could pop up with fingernail but no hinge so i didnt wanna attempt.. if its just for watchmaker access is their a piece simi...
