Carlos Rosillo (who along with Bruno Belamich, own Bell & Ross) dropped by Kuala Lumpur last night to show us (and, along with FJ Benjamin/BMI Malaysia, host a wonderful dinner for us at Eest Restaurant, Westin) some wonderful releases from Bell & Ross for 2008.
In relation to my recent posting of these announcements at home.watchprosite.com
we were priviledged to view these new pieces in the flesh.
The setup of the private room was glorious. In fact, the gorgeous glasswork on the table presented a superb contrasting backdrop for the watches.

Tasty morsels
Oyster and smoked fish
Teriyaki seabass with some kick
We also spot a stunning and most functional BR01 totebag/satchel. I think many of us wanted one for ourselves.
Carlos welcomed all of us and also answered all questions (including case materials, the ideas behind design elements and future releases) reflecting great ideas and vision.
A toast for a bountiful year
Sam Benjamin, the friendly and passionate Group Director of Timepiece Division of FJ Benjamin, also joined us all the way from Singapore.
Sam then kick starts the presentation of the evening where Carlos walked through with us the latest releases including some special upcoming pieces which will be announced soon (don't forget to check in often!)
A mock of the BR01 Phantom Tourbillon
Carlos also explained to us specific design elements such as the bezel design of the BR01 Tourbillon which has reinforced corners. He also made it clearer for most people how B&R divides its watches into 3 main lines, the Instrument range, the Professional range and the Vintage range.
Within these lines are also pieces specific for use in the Sky, Land and Sea. Carlos explains that much thought and also input from various European special forces entities (such as Police and Militarial bodies) have been incorporated into the design and engineering of the watches so each design element can be traced back to specific functions that are useful for the said entities.
On to the watches... among the new watches we got to see were the BR01 Yellow (92 and 94), BR03 Blue, BR03 Phantom and the previously unannounced BR02 Blue and Orange!
