Nick and Giles, launched their Bremont-MW Alt1-P Heli-Chrono watch last night in HK at a secluded private residence.

Michael Wong, actor/singer/helicopter pilot and his 17-piece Big Band, provided entertainment to the huge crowd.

The watch is a 50 pc. limited edition in collaboration with Michael, hence the MW.

Here are some quick phone pics.

... if you let me know in well advance, MAYBE I could make it, hehehe. HK or SNG seem the place to be these days for these events and I would like to be in these places and Tokyo at the same time! Good report, fernando. Thanks! Hobby is about enjoying lif...

an event dedicated to another 7750 chrono, what the fuss all about it?

 By: georgeszaslavsky : September 16th, 2011-21:35
What is all the fuss about bremont? Sticking an eta ebauche with no modifications in a specific case and then pricing at the same level than Rolex or Omega, many manufacturers do it. But launching an event to mark up this? This is just ridiuclous.I must b...

No fuss..

simple marketing and brand exposure. It's a tough environment for a relatively new brand and they have to do whatever they can to creat a buzz. Rather than costly TV or magazine ads, at least a lot of the party goers had a great time and enjoyed themselve...

well allow me to give you my two cents again

Hi fernando One of the reknown british watch brands in the past used to be smiths because of the quality of their movements and the nice design of their watches. That brand disappeared in themid seventies and therefore left a gap in british watchmaking. I...

I don't disagree that Rolex is the better brand.

But I think we are deviating from the original statement about the marketing strategy of Bremont. They wish to throw parties along the theme of aviation similiar to what IWC is doing with their pilot watches and obviously fills a market niche. Their prici...

10 Rolex, already, Fernando???

I bought my first Rolex in 1999. Well, it is true that I had up to 25 Rolexes, but now, I am happy with my 17 remaining. Best, Speedie Gonzales. Nicolas.

I have still yet to get my first proper vintage! [nt]

As for your first Vintage Rolex, it will come soon, I feel... And something tells me that it will be a GMT... Best, Speedie. VLAD.

They add up pretty quick!

 By: fernando : September 17th, 2011-09:37
So you think it will be a GMT? Hmmm .....hope you're right. Haven't you bought up all the 6542 already? Best, my vintage master. F

There are still some available on the market.

I mean, 6542s... The question is which 6542 do you want... Best, Vlad The Impaler, who knows where there are at least 3 for sale. Don't thank me...

I'm with Georges on this one

Looks like a fabulous party, and no doubt this LE will sell in a flash. But how does this help establish Bremont as player in the same league as Omega and Rolex? It's just another glitzy "rich and famous" event, no better or worse than the other major bra...

Looks like a great night out

Thanks for sharing, F!

Even though I am not a fan of their creations, I must say

They know how to throw a party!! Must be a first with a helicopter AT the event. Recently over here, Hamilton featured a small propeller plane as prop for their road show. Guess this aviation theme carried at it's best. Best, Horo

quitw a party! [nt]
