Breguet Marine Vs Hublot Big Bang
Hi
Looking for a versatile watch that is robust and in rubber strap. Have narrowed down to the Breguet Marine 5817 in silver dial and Hublot Big bang 41mm steel and ceramics as I have small wrist. Both are similar in size and price.
Which would you choose and why?

I have to add I have never owned a Hublot .....
but I have admired them from afar. .... my opinion is somewhat bias to Breguet. I will keep an open mind as always. Best Bill

In my humble opinion Marine is far away
from being the nicest Breguet. Anyhow, it is a real Braguet and the history of horology is much related with the name Breguet. Hublot is something very new... But in the end it depends what you appreciate. Nice problem for Christmas. Enjoy it! Best, Kari

Hublot BB is more exciting and sexy, Breguet Marine is akin to Gentlemen's sportswatch
Other then similar pricing and being lumped together in "sports watch" category, they are quite different. The Breguet is a real scratch magnet and unyielding, but it has lotsa of presence, and a bigger date window. Also a point not very much discussed he...
