Tissot 33.3 Chronograph: My kind of cup ( of tea ).

Dec 19, 2013,07:06 AM

For those who only know the current Tissot Collection, you will be delighted to see something from the glorious Past of this brand.

An early 33.3 Chronograph, gorgeous with its black dial and this marvellous detail, the 2d pusher integrated in the crown.

I will gather other pictures of 33. 3 Chronographs, which you could find in 3 Brands, Tissot, Lemania and Omega, and work on a thread.

But in the meantime, enjoy this beauty!

Best,

Nicolas

Gorgeous piece, love these faded overlapping chrono dials on black. Green strap looks great too! Thanks for sharing... lovely!

Not too sure about the green strap, but since it is not mine... ;)

Thanks, Suitbert. I know how to mzke you go out of the wood, now. ;) All the best. Nicolas. PS: Do you have a photo of the Leroy housing the Lemania movement?

Wow that's nice....

The patina on the dial is the right kind of patina - almost relaxing to gaze at. Thanks for posting this one. Darren

Did you notice that the Tissot signature has partially gone?

Not very disturbed by that, I must say... If I had the opportunity to grab it... Best, my friend. Nicolas.

Very nice watch and quite sophisticated too.....

the design of the case with the stepped bezel and these beautiful hands, distinctly sportive and elegant at the same time. Thank you for the very nice pictures Nicolas. Cheers Francois from Down Under

Stepped bezel

Indeed this really makes the watch stand out... Among other vintage pieces (that I've seen anyway), despite similar dials, the Tissot really has a much more distinctive look... Whereas this is just sporty: As you say, the Tissot is quite elegant! Love it....

Yes, the killing detail, indeed. I've never seen another Tissot similar to this one

As you so well illustrate Doobooloo, the bezel.....

on that particular Tissot is the first thing which jumped to my eyes, then the Epees hands, then the big crown with the central pusher, the combination makes this watch elegant..and the 33.3 movement which Nicolas keeps jealously away from our sight :):);...

I don't forget my friend, I don't forget but......

i like a lot of Tissot watches up to the end of the 70's. worldtimers, chronographs, especially this one and many others. G

The Tissot golden era was between 1930 and 1960.

... I find that black dial with those faded gold markings awesome charming! Every detail makes for the charm of this watch, including that stepped bezel around the dial. Not to mention the feeling of knowing a 33.3 movement is making tick tock inside! Tha...
