A Grand Series of Seiko Reports

Oct 19, 2014,21:03 PM

Hello PuristS,

I have returned from Japan with a hard drive full of Seiko news and reports.

Thanks to the hard work of Seiko PR staff, the Japanese railways, and a few restaurants and hotels (not to mention the typhoons petering out), we were able to have a great expedition into the world of Grand Seiko, Credor and Galante

Please check out the reports and let me know what you think.

Part One Overview

Part Two Components

Part Three Mechanical Movements

Part Four High-End Quartz Movements

Part Five Spring Drive and Micro Studio Custom Pieces

Parts 6, 7 etc. TBD including special reports from Mrs. Cazalea

Mike & Laurie

aka Cazalea & Mrs Cazalea

FYI - this is the brand-new SBGA109 10th Anniversary of Spring Drive Special in titanium; seen on the floor and soon to be released:

Thanks Jack, for your nice comments. I've been to most of the Swiss manufactures and this experience ranks up with the very best of them. Mike

Really job well done!

Mr. and Mrs. cazalea, thanks for coming to Japan and writing such a wonderful series of reports. I am so happy to meet you in Tokyo and looking forward to our next meeting! Great job, Mike! Ken

If I were to choose a single word to describe this series of reports....

.... it would be 'epic'. Thanks for the incredible effort which served not just as a glimpse to the world of Seiko, but Japan itself!

Thank you

my hope was to fairly represent a small portion of Seiko's world. The beauty of Japan was a bonus for us. Cazalea
