A very special FPJ Chronometre Souverain, limited edition of 8 pieces produced for Swiss Fine Timing in Chicago, and sold only with matching Octa Chronograph and wall clock... with a striking black & red motif. First, a few iPhone overview shots:

Now, onto some macros. First, the lovely guilloche work on the silver dial:

A spectacular and surprising detail - the blued minute hand is painted red at the tip to match the red lettering on the black rim:

Detail of the two-layer construction of the dial:

Red letters paired with a red strap:

Some shots of the familiar but always marvelous Cal. 1304 movement:

Details of the sunray pattern that quickly differentiates this piece from the movement of the Bleu:

The black and red combination of the dial turns the most "classic" piece in the FPJ lineup into a sporty beast!
