Bell & Ross BR01s

By: my little rock (registered) Tuesday, March 11th, 2008 - Photo Nav: View All 12 photo(s)

Just to share my collections with BR fans after reading Dr Bernard Cheong's post.  It all started out with a magazine which shows the BR01-92 Orange one year back which made me go so crazy over it.  I visited and called all the authorised dealers in Singapore.  With no results and the rurge to get it asap in case it really becomes SOLD OUT, I have no choice but to source it over the net, hoping there's another piece that is still available in the European or American market.

Finally, my searching are fruitful.  I managed to find 2 S'porean sellers.  It took me great courage to want to get it from "strangers" as I fear the authenticity of the watches.  Luckily there was a guy, who bought his piece from one of the ARs in S'pore with the original receipt and decided to sell it to me at his premium price.  So I met up with him to buy the watch.  That very night when I was negotiating with him, another seller in S'pore contacted me as well and say that he have one piece on sale.  Guess what???  I agreed to buy from him as well as his watch is # 003 / 250 (nice no.).  So I thought, being a very clumsy watch wearer (look at those scrtaches on the centrepiece - OUCH!!!!), I'll buy one for my daily wear, the other to keep.

And so the collection started...............

How I wish FJ would offer me a set of the yellow and red once it was launched in S'pore.... can't wait for it and then I have to go through long waits in getting those limited pieces..... and going through so march HARDSHIPS to get hold of a piece.... my favourite is yellow... so i'm NOTgonna give them a miss AT ALL.

I had wanted to get the ceremic white pieces.  But can they make them in 46mm please?  42mm? They are too small for me!

Well the Tourbillion definitely looks delicious but it's too much to pay for.... perhaps I'll get one when I had a windfall... probably by then, there will be none left for me and by then, my hair probably turned white and my wrist will be too old and frilly to wear that musculine watch.  Hahaha!

In the near future, I look forward to see the BR01 series coming out with bright greenies, purples and pinkies.... Wow!!!!!!  Colours!!!!!!!!!!!

It all started with the watch in the centre. Shes the culprit who started it all!

That is an amazing collection.

The day there is a B&R forum you should postulate your candidature.

B&R should give you the tourby as a mark of appreciation for buying all of the other watches that they make smile

The phantom tourbillon is just too nice!

Fantastic!  What a collection! Thanks for sharing them.

I'm sure you can't wait to add the Yellow and Red BR01 models.

B&R should give you the opportunity to get #1 of the Red and Yellow models.  Or even better #8!

i prefer watch # 499 or 500....

You are the most crazy BR fanatic I've seen.  And to imagine you amass a dozen of these in a year?

To reciprocate your dedication, FJB should really offer you priority to buy a piece of the yellow and red.

I'm speechless looking at my miserable BR03-92.  Time to get my wife the white ceramic which I've been thinking.

Yes...

This post deserves a medal, and wow!!!!

By: bernard cheong (registered) Wednesday, March 12th, 2008

This beats my Panerai collection...33 watches 1997 to 2006..these allowed me to sell after owning for 7 years, and to pay for some of my "more expensive" watches.

Wow, Bernard,

By: amanico (registered) Wednesday, March 12th, 2008

You really had 33 Panerai watches in your collection???
Wow, I'm impressed, and beaten!
I owned 30!.And now down to 8.
LOL
Best.
Nicolas

Yes..even the solid YG one. I didn't loose a penny, but gained.

By: bernard cheong (registered) Wednesday, March 12th, 2008

I should be selling Pateks soon..chuckles.

Thanks!

By: my little rock (registered) Wednesday, March 12th, 2008

But I tink a "YELLOW" and a "RED" black medal will be the best.  Hahaha!

Wow!

By: my little rock (registered) Wednesday, March 12th, 2008

I have never thought that collections can catch back some gold to buy new expensive pieces....

Yah... maybe a few years down the road, i can sell off some of my collections and save up to buy myself my wants one of these days...

1) URWERK Blackbird... but they are no longer available.  Hopefully some owners get sick of it one of these days and wants to get rid of it.. .contact me.  Hahaha!

2) VH

3) J&Co
