This year Cartier International Polo celebrated its 24^th anniversary. The most anticipated event of the polo calendar was watched by a 30,000 strong crowd and featured a thrilling battle for the Coronation Cup between England and Australia; it was a tight game with England ending up winning 10-9. The Cartier International Polo to this day remains the climax of the British social season.
