Hi Art, The serial number is circa 25.5 million, placing the watch around 1967-68. For some reason it was first sold in 1971. Don’t worry, I love your black dial Connie as well. I look forward to a side by side photo one day. Andrew

In fact, it is for all practical purposes identical to the Goldpfeil LE, but carries Frank Jutzi's own name/logo on the dial and rotor. With great foresight it was commissioned in that fashion by the previous custodian. Cheers, pplater.

An Amvox I or a Polaris would fit the bill, IMO... 42 mm in both cases, an a superb complication, the Alarm. Both are not too sporty, but I'd say ..Casual Chic. If you want a psorty and original watch, the Amvox II is to consider..;Yes it is 44 mm, but it...

A recent addition to my hi beat collection. One of my favorite 70s Favre Leubas, this Moon Raider is fitted with a 36000 bph movement. Case back is fiberglass so the watch is very light and the case design makes the 40mm fit perfectly on my wrist. L'shona...

The Sea was a motif in FL watch brands. A major new large cased six sided watch in the late 60s was the Sea Raider 36000 bph. FL had an existing Sea King model, also Harpoon. I think they just liked the "Raider" tag for large watches and introduced an ala...
