Delamination

By definition, heat cured composite material (ceramic) does not "corrode" from contact with simple sweat at natural world temperatures. Unless you work with hydrofluoric acid but then, if you did, you would be an expert chemist and know the danger.
You should get it checked, if as you say, "like that from new". New from authorised dealer?
It comes down to 3 scenarios:
1. Delamination occurred at time of manufacture or subsequent to a bonding weakness or fault.
2. Factory-Distributor-Dealer damaged it in transit.
3. You damaged it without knowing.
Let us know when the mystery is solved.

MTF

What do you think happened to the ceramic (from serial number to the spider logo)? I got it new this way, it can't be corrossion, or caused by my sweat. Material texture or factory mishandling? Thanks....
I am no ceramic expert....

But it does look strange! Better send it for a checkup? Best Blomman

But sure that the guys at LW will look after you. Let us know how you get on, Andrew
Could very well be the case...

Anyways, I expect LW to take care of it. If they could assure me this wouldn't affect the movement, then I'd leave it be.
