I have long been familiar with Omega's Synchro-beat cal 372, which is at the top of every Omega collectors list along with the 30I.  Only a handful remained in circulation after they were pulled from distribution due to idiosyncratic performance.  It's interesting Rolex's contribution to the genre lasted several years.
