The crucial message is that JeanRichard is breaking away from the side of big brother Girard-Peregaux.
The fact that you post this report on our HoMe page rather that the traditional G-P page shows that marketing edict is working.

By not being forced to used hand-me-down G-P movements, JR is doing as Tudor did to get away from Rolex.
At one time, JR even "made" their own movement and the product range had most of the complications found in the G-P range, thus cannibalising from big brother by having a lower price point.
With their modular construction of one engineering concept with three family branches (Land-Sea-Air) - now a fourth branch for Graphics is introduced - JR can focus on the mid-range customer...true consumerism. This new segment is young, urbane and trendy with multiple iterations of the basic watch.
JR is the higher version of a SWATCH watch. No restrictions. No constrictions. No games.
They can just Do It!

It leaves me speechless, in a negative sense
Did they just discover the work of Jackson Pollock? They should think of a collaboration with Romero Britto, it would fit the brand image perfectly :)
