Horological Meandering

Hi all, After doing some collection inventory work this past week, I thought I would share a group photo (actually two group photos - a reason for this), and a bit of the story of my collecting journey. I've been an avid reader and occasional poster here ...

Thank you Dave for sharing with us your collection. I'm still confused about the meaning of the term "collection". Does collection mean more than one watch? two…ten? How many? But seeing your watches, there is no doubt, you are a true collector! And more ...

You have some very interesting watches. I like how you collection is broad and includes many brands. Nice! Is the deep sea Jaeger alarm American version a tribute, or an original? I also have strong weak spot for JLC! Best Edmond

Wow - that is a fantastic collection. What is your favorite or top 3 favorite watch? Congrats on 25 years of collecting. If you were to start collecting, what would you do differently. Thank you.

A few favorites: The Freak...not to wear daily, but a special piece to watch in motion. The UN perpetual GMT. My favorite traveling watch, although my new Moser Nomad is also nice on the road. The Datograph...gets a lot of daily wear. On 27 Jan, 2014, at ...

Have you kept all of the watches over the years or did you swap / sell off any? Really nice collection of pateks and moser. I don't think I'll ever catch up with your haul, I'm waiting for the day maybe in a few years when I can get a 5960 with grey dial!...
