25 years of collecting...

Hi all, After doing some collection inventory work this past week, I thought I would share a group photo (actually two group photos - a reason for this), and a bit of the story of my collecting journey. I've been an avid reader and occasional poster here ...

Those pictures make me think about out table shots.

You know, during our GTGs, when we are many friends attending... Here, you are alone, which makes a big difference. What a journey, my friend! Did you ever think that 25 years are also a Jubilé? Breathtaking, my friend. Thanks for sharing that with us! Be...

Ah, Nicolas...

I didn't... But speaking of "Jubilee", the JLC Ultra Thin Jubilee is hiding in shot #2... Here she is a little closer... ...

Thank you Dave for sharing with us your collection. I'm still confused about the meaning of the term "collection". Does collection mean more than one watch? two…ten? How many? But seeing your watches, there is no doubt, you are a true collector! And more ...

Thanks Constantin. A few decades ago, my two watches were a collection and still would be. I think part of the fun is reflecting on how a collection grows, tastes change, etc. On 27 Jan, 2014, at 1:54, www watchprosite < w[Email address suppressed for ...

You have some very interesting watches. I like how you collection is broad and includes many brands. Nice! Is the deep sea Jaeger alarm American version a tribute, or an original? I also have strong weak spot for JLC! Best Edmond

The Deep Sea is a tribute. The World of vintage I haven't explored too much, but an original would be amazing. On 27 Jan, 2014, at 3:39, www watchprosite < w[Email address suppressed for privacy] > wrote:

Great journey and great collection. must be difficult deciding what to wear. I have trouble juggling 10 watches! Here's to the next 20 years

Your favourite?

Wow - that is a fantastic collection. What is your favorite or top 3 favorite watch? Congrats on 25 years of collecting. If you were to start collecting, what would you do differently. Thank you.

A few favorites: The Freak...not to wear daily, but a special piece to watch in motion. The UN perpetual GMT. My favorite traveling watch, although my new Moser Nomad is also nice on the road. The Datograph...gets a lot of daily wear. On 27 Jan, 2014, at ...

At least you do not get bored to any of your watches. And with such an impressive amount of watches, you will never be late from a meeting. Congratulations! Best, Kari

Nice story (and great collection).
