Possibly.....

He already wants to do.....er....has designed jewellery accessories....shhh.

So, writing implements is not impossible.

I would caution that Stepan uses a reliable and easily obtained re-fill for his ink supplier e.g. Parker style.

The current Mrs MTF (our pen collector) complaints bitterly about Jorg Hysek who designs nice pens but spolis it by using re-fills that give blotchy writing and sticking and other pen illnesses  :-(

Regards,

MTF

Thanks for the fantastic article, Melvyn.  It's invaluable to hear from the watchmaker himself on what influences him, and how those ideas or experiences come across in his timepieces.  I feel as though I appreciate Sarpaneva's work even more now. Cheers,...

So far, Stepan has done it right. But, he got to be careful not to allow his watches to be associated with designer watch, IMHO. Regards Ling
