Those who overlook smaller watches...

...are only doing themselves a disservice. Thanks largely to the gentle pictorial persuasion of a few champions of the smaller watch (TonyC, Art, Cazalea et al take a bow) a few have found their way into the watchbox, and very welcome they are too! This, by the way, for a fellow with larger than average wrists (correlating directly to the larger than average waistline!). A sample, as you have asked:

It's also surprising how small this one wears (29mm x 40mm):
Then there's the vintage world. There's no end to the vintage beauties that can be had for a metaphorical song, presumably because they are smaller. Here's just a couple, with a lift of the lid to Art for keeping those fires burning:
