While I agree a diving watch should be used for that purpose I would be a little concerned. Yes pressure testing to avoid the risk is a good way to to reduce the risk but you can't eliminate it. A watch like that FF would be very hard to replace should the dial get wet. So a solid Rolex Submariner of a newer vintage from the 1980's and newer would be where I draw the like for risk with diving and vintage.
Having said the above it is great to see the confidence you have in the watch and rightly so. Keep on diving with it if that is what pleases you.
Not trying to give an lessons you don't already know.
Enjoy that beauty.

The FF is a diving watch, so I dive with a FF "no radiation" screwed crown. Attention to sensitive souls. While leak testing before launching otherwise. Best regards JL...

Hey, JL - Thanks for the heads up. As an avid diver and all around safety freak, I go deep with my Submariner, but wont be caught "dead" without my handy Atomic Aquatics Cobalt computer. A must have! http://www.atomicaquatics.com/computer.html - scott

XX-FF, Regarding sky-divng: I would not jump from a perfectly serviceable aircraft so why would you dive with a watch outside its validated water-resistant waranty? "To swim with the fishes, you must have the mindset of the ocean"...... Japanese proverb. ...

...dive with old watches, that is.... The movement is the mundane bit of these watches...I shudder to think what's happened to the dial...
Ouch!

Thank you all for your comments but the rusty watch is not mine, it's a photo taken by a watchmaker. Rest assured my "no radiation" is tight and works perfectly. She was even part of the expo FF as No. 242.
