Respect

I met Thomas Prescher @Baselworld in 2008. I have such respect and admiration for his trailblazing and rebellious attitude, bringing the multi axis tourbillons to the wrist. All the big brands are simply followers, in my book at least. Thank you, Darren, for posting.

While you are at it, what about some picutres of the movement? Knowing you a bit, I would be surprised if there is not something nice to see, movement side. GREAT dial, and very plesant case. Best, Nicolas

Happy to oblige Nicolas.....

Thomas did some nice work with this Zenith 135 movement. Always enjoyable to listen to these slow-beat movements during times when it is quiet. Darren ...

The architecture of the dial made me think about a nice movement...

This one was clearly on the conservative side for him. His ultra-complicated watches are something to behold - I hope to have an opportunity to see them in the metal some day. Thanks for the kind words. Darren

very beautiful

My kind of project. Thanks for sharing. BR

Projects with Thomas tend to be quite easy....

 By: Darren : April 5th, 2015-18:50
as he is extremely organized, communicates throughout and, of course, delivers a work of art when it's all said and done. Thanks for the comments. Darren

Hey, Darren, allow me to come back with some questions...

 By: amanico : April 5th, 2015-05:02
For how long do you own it? How did you get it? Directly, or second " hand "? You drove me crazy with this one! Best, Nicolas

No problem Nicolas....

I have owned my Prescher for 3 or so years now, although it started life with a different dial (Roman numerals rather than Arabic numbers). Was fun to work with Thomas on multiple dials, as I can now switch back and forth depending on mood. The project st...

Do you know Darren that I saw your watch?

I miss that dial at times, so may have to swap them at some point in the near future. Your photography is quite a bit better than mine! Thanks for sharing this scan. Darren

Some great shots

The hands were a bit of a departure from Thomas' more typical skeleton hands that he was using at that time. Darren

pieces in Independents and had to comment on this one! Incredible piece. The update with the numbers really makes this watch. Did you suggest the finishing on the dial yourself? Incredible design touch!

Beautiful unique watch!

This dial makes me think of De Bethune style for some reason.

That is a beautiful watch.

The dial texture is especially lovely. And the movement finishing as well. Congratulations. Would you be able to post the original dial as well?
