and can’t recall another model done this way. Interesting 🤔 and wonder upon the fate of the Milgauss. It would have made chronological sense to introduce this change with it instead, if the ultimate goal is to have all professional models have crown guard...

Overall I like the new dial and I think I agree with the general consensus re the crown guard. However what I am most pleased about is that there still is an Air King with a dial inspired by Bloodhound. I think it’s great to see Rolex sticking with this. ...

but from pictures I would think that the biggest difference would be the case shape. I always liked the bulkiness of the AK case, especially the lugs seems to be very thick and long, something the new one doesn’t have anymore.
