Horology Colloquiums by Sincere Watch Academy
Recently, we reported on the opening of the Sincere Watch Academy (SWA) classrooms: click here
Now that a physical school site at Suntec Tower Three 23rd floor exists, SWA will be hosting the Horology Colloquiums -- a series of fora, in partnership with The Six Great Watchmaking Houses of the World -- from 6th September to 11th October 2007.
Six Great Houses, as revealed in this notebook published by SWA:
Q.) Who are these Six Great Houses?
A.) A.Lange & Sohne, Girard-Perregaux, IWC, Jaegar-LeCoultre, L.U.C. by Chopard Manufacture and Patek Philippe.
The Horology Colloquiums, "....aim to provide participants with a platform to explore the allure and heritage of these great watch manufactures, understanding their philosophy as well as appreciate the craftsmanship and imprints that make these brands so unique and in demand." -- SWA.
