Friends, All the novelties from Girard-Perregaux this year are not yet presented hereā¦ Still more to come! Next in line is the Girard-Perregaux Heritage 1957. Girard-Perregaux Heritage 1957: the year GP patented the Gyromatic concept. Even if the name is ...
OR a smaller case....

The position of the date window do not bother me that much as the risk of having a too large watch for this kind of dial... BUT, I need to see this one in the metal to draw a final conclusion... Best Blomman
This will do well

And I can imagine there will be 20 dial and metal variations... I don't mind the date. I think it is not badly placed, and the dial is very nice. I think however, it is HIGH TIME GP dispense with the tired, boring, predictable 3330 movement... It is like ...
I understand your frustration.

Yes, the GP 033000 is a great movement, but it would be nice to see a development. A high-grade finish? Something to motivate a larger case back window? ...? I think many GP fans would welcome that! Best Blomman

I think we are many here loving clean, dateless dials...

Would have been nice to see one of these Limited Editions #225 without a date. But here I feel that at least the date window do not destroy the dial... Which is the case on some watches. Best Blomman

My pleasure, Chuck! This one have a lot of vintage charm but the advantage of a modern watch! Best Blomman
Interesting new offer

I understand this is also a special, limited 225 years edition. Would need to see it in the metal, but I guess if you own a number of vintage Gyromatics then this is less interesting. CC
Don't say that....

If you have the vintage originals.... You can play the old and new game! For example, you have a lot of Deep Divers.... Would that stop you if GP released a new Deep Diver...?! I know for sure it would not stop me... Best Blomman
Love the champagne dial...

Seeems like the old times are really returning. And while I agree that a smaller diameter would be better (would also get the date placed closer to where it should be), one can at least see a gradual trend towards downsizing, which is good I wonder why th...
The downsizing trend is a good thing, IMO.

Makes the watches more accessible to more wrists. Also more balanced and comfortable. But I guess that it is a process over time. You can't go from 45-47 mm to 38-39 mm in one go! Best Blomman
Yes, GP 2016 is doing great! :)

Looking forward to see more of the novelties... Because it is not over yet! Best Blomman
I am in agreement about the date.

I dont even mind the 40mm case. The dial and case are beautiful. It would have been perfect without the date.
