I think breitling is a love it / hate it brand. I get phases where I love it and wouldn't be surprised if one popped into my collection some day, even though none are on the hit list.

Breitling Superocean Steelfish I'm not a Breitling guy but when I first saw this one so did it smile at me. 2000meters/6600feet, it's a beast 44 mm without crown. I have always been weak for red parts. Screw down crown. Helium valve at the 9 o'clock posit...

Great shots as usual

I think you will enjoy the watch. A friend of mine has the same one. Jocke, I think you could make a Timex look good with your spectacular picture taking ability.

the dial is much nicer than I'd have given credit to Breitling for

First I will thank you for your opinions. Was I offended by your post? Not really, maybe a little when you questioning my discretion if I buy genuine watches. LOL When I look at the watch with a naked eye the caseback side and the brushed parts looks ok I...

Well Jocke, I apologize even if I only offended you a little..

Morning Jocke, I appologize, even for the little bit of offending. I am amazed at that quality, even for a work watch. I guess it gets back to the fact that, now we all have the technology..... with internet and macro photography etc..... makers are going...

Congratulations, Jocke!

Amazing photos as always. The lume shot and the final picture of your Breitling on top of the rope are my favorites! Enjoy the watch! Cheers, Daos

What plastic?

Jocke, First: Most excellent capture of the heft and strength of this model in your photos. Although 44mm is too big for some, it is understandable for the function....reassuring. What's with the plastic? Is it a demonstration model or are you paranoid ab...

I just got the watch so the plastic is still on. [nt]

I thought it was extra waterproofing. Seriously, Breitling is my father-in-law's and sister-in-law's favourite brand. We got them one each for their birthdays in the past. He is ex-R.A.F so I guess the connection is strong with aeronautical links but she ...

Thank you all for the kind words. [nt]

Watch aint too bad either. 8-)

It's a bit of a departure from the watches you normally . . .

. . . share with us, Jocke, but tastes change and evolve, and what might not have floated your boat a few years ago could be your favorite today. I find myself gravitating more towards vintage three-handed classics from the 50s and 60s, current Grand Seik...
