A question for any of our Danish purists….

Apr 21, 2024,10:34 AM

I am from NY but my half sister who is Danish lives in Copenhagen with my niece and nephew. I would like to purchase a Cartier for my niece and an Omega for my nephew as they are both completing graduate school. They are coming to NY to visit this summer. Does anyone know what the duty regulations are like from the US to Denmark? There is a chance I will visit them over there and Cartier and Omega both have boutiques in Copenhagen so it would probably be easier but I’m not sure when I can get over there. The last thing I want is to make them pay for their gifts at customs. mange tak in advance😁

Writing from Spain but as far as I know this is for all eurozone countries, if the watch is coming from outside of Europe they would have to pay a customs duty which in Spain along with expenses etc comes to about 22.5%, in Denmark taxes are high so they ...
